"Hedi Schneider steckt fest" (WT) tells an imaginative and humourous story about how life can slip out of control. Uli, Hedi and Finn are a happy, loving family. They get by with various odd jobs, and Hedi particularly uses humour to deal with every unpleasant setback. Even when she gets stuck in the lift, she seems to be in an extremely good mood. But the moment she begins to suffer from panic attacks out of the clear blue, her everyday life suddenly comes unstuck. A build-up of well-meant advice, hysterical parents, bored therapists and unfulfilled wishes intensify, creating a tragicomedy about fear and the influence of love.
